Rosenblum has ranked #5 in the Albany Business Review‘s recently released 2018 list of “Largest Commercial Real Estate Developers” in the Albany area, up three from the company’s 2017 position at #8.

“The Largest Commercial Real Estate Developers” list measures the number of square feet developed locally in 2017, as well as square feet currently in progress. Rosenblum’s 2016 developments last year included the company’s flagship self-storage facility, ValuSpace Personal Storage, located at 40 N. Russell Road in Albany, as well as The News Apartments in Troy, NY. The 2017 addition of ValuSpace Troy and ValuSpace Halfmoon along with the completion of The News increased the company’s ranking.

In recent years, Rosenblum has significantly diversified it’s portfolio, growing from primarily office properties to now include commercial, retail, residential multi-family, and self-storage buildings totalling over 1 million square feet. ValuSpace Troy opened in July of 2018, while The News Apartments opened in phases beginning in May 2018.

Albany Business Review‘s annual Book of Lists provides listings of hundreds of companies in their fields. The survey area for this list included Albany, Columbia, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Warren and Washington counties.
