You’re Invited – Downtown Albany 1st Friday Night Out
Tonight the downtown Albany BID is hosting a “1st Friday Night Out” tour of urban parks from 5 to 7:30pm, beginning at Tricentennial Park (corner of Broadway and Columbia). The event will feature food from Franklin’s Tower and artwork hosted by local artists at the Albany Center Gallery.
Beginning at 5:30, you’ll be able to hop on the a trolley to explore local art on display throughout Downtown, including the Sculpture in the Streets outdoor public art exhibit (by world renowned kinetic sculptor George Rickey). In the event of rain, the event will be held at 39 Columbia Street. Attendance is free, but a RSVP via this link is appreciated.
