Eight is Great! Our Eighth “Best Places to Work” Nod Is Just as Special as The First

This week’s announcement that Rosenblum Development has been named a 2023 “Best Places to Work” in the Capital Region by the Albany Business Review for an eighth year is just as meaningful as the first time the company received this honor in 2015, said company principals Seth Rosenblum and Jeff Mirel.

“Best Places to Work has become a valuable annual barometer for how we’re doing as an employer,” Mirel said. “Our company’s mission is creating better spaces to build stronger communities, which starts with striving to make a better workplace for the talented team that makes it happen.”

The Rosenblum Companies, which owns and operates nearly 1.5 million square feet of award-winning office, industrial, retail, self-storage, and urban mixed-use properties, has grown from 25 to 42 employees in the last five years.

Seth Rosenblum, whose father, Jack Rosenblum, founded the company in 1979, said, “Our team has grown considerably over the last decade, and we’ve been fortunate to attract and retain talented people who truly personify our company core values.”

For nearly two decades, the Albany Business Review has organized the Best Places to Work program to recognize the top company work environments in the Capital Region. Best Places encourages healthy competition while showcasing successful workplaces that increase employee satisfaction, retention, and recruitment. All 60 companies that made the list will be profiled in the publication’s December 8th edition. Among the honorees are also several longtime Rosenblum tenants, Creighton Manning Engineering, StoredTech and The Colwell Law Group.

The Annual Best Places to Work Celebration, one of the Albany Business Review’s most popular annual events, will be held in person this year at the Albany Marriott, located adjacent to one of Rosenblum’s office buildings at 187 Wolf Road.
