Winner’s Circle has first new tenant
The Rosenblum Companies is very pleased to announce that engineering firm Weston & Sampson has signed a seven-year lease at 1 Winner’s Circle, one of four office properties we acquired from The Beltrone Group in May. This is the first lease signed under our new ownership.
Weston & Sampson, headquartered in Peabody, Massachusetts, will occupy 7,500 square feet of space on the first floor of 1 Winner’s Circle. The building is located adjacent to the busy Wolf Road corridor in close proximity to the Albany Marriott. Our in-house project management team will oversee a turnkey renovation of the new suite for Weston & Sampson.
“The Rosenblum Companies has been providing premium office space to leading regional, national and international office tenants in the Capital Region since 1979,” said Seth Rosenblum, Chief Executive Officer of The Rosenblum Companies. “This endorsement by Weston & Sampson, a century-old firm committed to offering sustainable environmental and infrastructure solutions, further validates our investment in these properties.”
Founded by Robert Spurr Weston in 1899, the Weston & Sampson partnership was formed when George Sampson joined the practice in 1916. Together, they were instrumental in developing innovative approaches for water treatment that continue to provide the basis for state-of-the-art treatment processes. Today, Weston & Sampson employs nearly 500 professionals in offices along the East Coast. The move to Albany County allows the firm to expand its growth in and better serve the Capital District.
“Weston & Sampson is thrilled to be one of Rosenblum’s newest tenants as we increase our presence in the engineering and technical services marketplace in the Capital District,” said Skip Francis, Weston & Sampson’s Regional Manager, New York. “The central location and easy access to conveniences like restaurants, along with Rosenblum’s reputation in the market for top-notch customer service, made Winner’s Circle the best choice for our firm.”
The announcement comes as we have already started a comprehensive upgrade program for the Wolf Road area office properties. Improvements that are underway at 1 Winner’s Circle include completely renovated lobbies with higher efficiency LED lighting, enhanced landscaping incorporating native plants, and a redesigned central courtyard.
