No Compromise Necessary for Urban Living

In a recent article for the Times Union examining how housing preferences change over the course of life, reporter Leigh Hornbeck interviewed 17 Chapel residents Laura Brodsky and Wendy Shotsky.  Wendy and Laura formerly lived in Albany’s Center Square neighborhood before moving to a town home in Guilderland for over a decade. When they first relocated to the suburbs, off-street parking with a garage is one of the amenities that appealed to them most.  Now, with their six children grown,”they love being downtown again, in walking distance of restaurants, the Palace Theater and the Times Union Center.” Plus, they still get to enjoy off-street parking in 17 Chapel’s indoor heated garage.
