Smart Growth Drives Another “Best Places to Work” Nod for Rosenblum

For the seventh time since 2015, Rosenblum Development has been honored by the Albany Business Review as one of the “Best Places to Work” in the Capital Region!

Jeff Mirel, principal of Rosenblum Development, said this Best Places nod was particularly meaningful in the wake of the Great Resignation and now the phenomenon of ‘quiet quitting.’

“An inclusive, inspired team is hands down our most valuable asset,” Mirel said. “At Rosenblum, each of our team members is personally invested in our mission to create and sustain greener, healthier spaces that build stronger communities.”

Rosenblum has long been known for developing and managing premium office properties in the Capital Region but over the last decade, the company has diversified its growing portfolio, which now encompasses over 1.5 million square feet of award-winning office, industrial, retail, self-storage, and urban mixed-use properties.   Industrie, Rosenblum’s inaugural zero-emission apartment building, is currently under construction in downtown Albany and is scheduled to open in Summer 2023.

Rosenblum, which now employs more than 40 people in the Capital Region, has been growing an in-house construction management team to oversee the company’s new projects as well as the design, planning and fit-up of custom tenant spaces that uniquely meet each tenant’s corporate culture, workflow and staff needs.

“For us, growth isn’t about getting bigger.  It’s about getting better and smarter to consistently deliver the most positive outcomes,” Mirel said.

For nearly two decades, the Albany Business Review has organized the Best Places to Work program to recognize the top company work environments in the Capital Region. Best Places encourages healthy competition while showcasing successful workplaces that increase employee satisfaction, retention, and recruitment. All 60 companies that made the list are profiled in the December 9th edition of the Business Review.

The Annual Best Places to Work Celebration, one of the Albany Business Review’s most popular annual events, was held in person this year at the Albany Marriott, located adjacent to one of Rosenblum office properties at 187 Wolf Road.
