Downtown Condos Are Big News in Real Estate

Real estate professionals statewide are taking note of the potential in downtown Albany’s redevelopment. The cover story of this week’s New York Real Estate Journal is on the construction of 17 Chapel Boutique Condominiums, managed by The Rosenblum Companies.

Some excerpts:

“A new luxury condominium project at 17 Chapel Street in downtown Albany is breathing new life into the historic district while meeting a demand for more residential development in the heart of the city.”

“This is an unprecedented project in the area that has the potential to revitalize the downtown district. Luxury homes are no longer limited to the suburbs,’ said Seth Rosenblum, vice president of The Rosenblum Companies, which is building the project.”

The article points out some of 17 Chapel’s most distinguishing features, including: Tremendous savings from the City of Albany 485(a) tax abatement plan, resort-style amenities through partnerships with local businesses and a secure, heated parking garage, keyless building entry, and fitness center.

The New York Real Estate Journal is the largest weekly commercial investment real estate newspaper in the state.
